Awards for All Scotland

Awards for All is a Lottery grants scheme funding small, local community-based projects in the UK.

Market Place School PTA in Aberdeenshire, recieved a grant of £4,500 from the Awards for All programme to buy outside play equipment for the school.

Dan Maskell Tennis Trust

The Dan Maskell Tennis Trust provides grants to organisations providing opportunities for disabled people to play tennis.

Howes Primary School in Coventry, which has a Hearing Impaired Unit, received support from the Trust to start a deaf tennis club as a result of a lack of sporting opportunities for deaf children in Coventry. The Tennis Foundation provided a starter pack of inclusive tennis equipment.

Co-operative Group

The Co-operative Group gives 1% of what members spend on Co-op branded food products and selected services, as well as money raised from the sales of carrier bags and Co-op Scratch cards to local projects under the Local Causes programme.

Downton Community Preschool received a grant of £3,844 for the purchase of furniture and resources in preparation for the move to a new purpose built preschool.

The Dulverton Trust

The Dulverton Trust is an independent grant-making charity that supports UK charities and charitable incorporated organisations that are tackling a range of social issues, protecting the natural world, and preserving heritage crafts. In 2017/18 89 grants were awarded totalling almost £3.9 million.

School-Home Support received a grant of £75,000 for work with Carrwood Primary School, Bradford to improve the attainment of disadvantaged children and address the root causes of low attendance and poor behaviour.

The Robertson Trust

The Robertson Trust is an independent Charitable Trust with the aim of improving the quality of life and realising the potential of people and communities in Scotland; including Improving the quality of life for those affected by physical and/or mental health issues and their carers.  Each year the Trust awards around £16 million in grants.

New School Butterstone, in Perth and Kinross, received a grant of £59,000 towards the capital costs of the upgrade of the school and young adult service's residential accommodation.

Ogden Trust

The Ogden Trust's aim is to maximise the educational opportunities available to young people in all parts of the UK's educational system. Each year, the Ogden Trust considers a small number of grants to educational institutions or charitable institutions with educational purposes. The small number of grants it makes each year are up to £10,000 and usually have to be for a science-related project.

Teddington School in Middlesex received a grant of £5,000 from the Ogden Trust towards the purchase of new science equipment in two laboratories to improve experimental facilities at the school.

Daiwa Foundation

The Daiwa Anglo-Japanese Foundation makes grants to individuals, institutions and organisations to promote links between the UK and Japan in all fields of activity. Under its Small Grants programme, grants of £1,000-£5,000 are available for educational and grassroots exchanges, research travel, the organisation of conferences, exhibitions, and other projects and events.

The Cottlesloe School in Buckinghamshire, received a grant of £1,500 through the Daiwa Foundation Small Grant scheme to support an educational exchange between the school and Japanese educational institutions, using drama to explore and understand cultural differences between the two countries.

Foyle Foundation

The Foyle Foundation is an independent grant making trust that distributes grants to UK charities and not for profit organisations whose work is in the areas of Learning, the Arts and Health. Within its Learning remit funding is available to meet special educational needs and learning difficulties.

Bishop Pursglove C of E VA Primary School, Tideswell received a grant of £3,000 towards stage equipment to support drama activities at the school.
