Bid Writing Workshops for Schools

 

Working in association with Progress through Partnership, a leading educational consultancy, Grants 4 Schools is able to offer schools the opportunity to develop their bid writing skills.

Led by Bob Jennings, a former teacher of the Year, the Fundraising Masterclass for Schools; and 'next steps' are one-day intensive practical bid writing workshops that provides delegates with the relevant knowledge and skills that will help them unlock the potential of their school. Learning the 'rules of successful fundraising' is a key outcome of the day. Attending the workshop/s will help “break down the fear and misconceptions of bid writing"

Both 'Fundraising Masterclass for Schools' and 'next steps' have been designed to meet the needs of anyone within the education sector who has the responsibility to generate additional funds. Years of fundraising experience and understanding are now distilled into an informative and entertaining one-day workshop.

  • Playing for Success Centre Managers and anyone who is part of a fund raising team.

Fundraising Masterclass for Schools

This highly popular workshop has been designed to help those who have the responsibility of accessing additional funding for schools. It is suitable for the complete beginner to those with some bid-writing experience. The focus of the day will be “how to write a quality bid”.

The workshop will:

Next Steps workshop equips delegates with the skills and knowledge required to seek out web-based sources of funding. Participation* in the workshop enables delegates to quickly identify appropriate funding sources for their school and write multiple online bids.

The workshop provides free access to a unique funding database designed especially for schools

Next Steps is for those who want to:

  • Confidently surf web-based fundraising packages
  • Write successful online bids
  • Gain charitable status
  • Conduct school/community consultations
